I just had to shoot them in line to make easy combos. Previous boss with the 4 hammer guys also should be more harder.

Too many items, too many hints (like the generator panel at the electrified water ), enemies are not that dangerous, and final boss fight was piece of cake and should require some extra enemies to annoy you while moving around the boss.
